The app uses your location so the narration starts in the right place and you can see what is near you. Your location stays on the device. We do not upload it automatically (see our privacy notice).
The map shows you in the wrong place or jumps: that is almost always location accuracy. Set high accuracy in your device’s location settings and, if you can, step outside for a moment. Between tall buildings and indoors, every positioning is imprecise.
The app does not ask for your location, or you declined: you grant the permission in your device settings under Apps → Citily → Permissions.
The map stays empty or grey. The map comes over the network too. Check your connection and open it again afterwards. Places you have taken along carry the piece of map they stand on, so those keep their surroundings without a connection — see Offline data.
